Dale has been playing bass around the Portland area for many years and has played with a lot of bands. His enthusiasm and gentle guidance allow bands to find their own way, while his experience helps keep things from going too far off the rails.

Jim is a graduate of 12 Make Music PDX sessions, which helped him go from a nervous beginner to a gigging solo musician, band member & manager of The Purple Herons, teacher, and composer. Jim’s intuitive approach to music helps bands cope with the unexpected and discover hidden talents and new musical adventures.
